I graduated from Phialadelphia College of Art with a degree in ceramics, and started my career
working for the collectible company the Franklin Mint.
I then worked for David Flaharty, a master in the art of Ornamental Plaster, where I further
developed my skills. David and I worked on many important projects including the State Department
in Washington D.C. and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In the 1990's after working for Lenox Collections, I started my own freelance business working for
other collectible companies including Gartlan U.S.A., Bradford Exchange and the Danbury Mint. During
this time I created a series of figures under the Crown Point name. I now live in New York and work
in the Ornamental Plaster trade.
The Crown Point Christmas Ornament series was first started in 2009. The porcelain ornaments Going to Church,
Girl with Doll and the Snowman are my 2009 series.
The Crown Point Christmas Ornaments are made from master molds which are slip cast, fired and glazed. Each
Ornament is handmade, sculpted and painted by hand by me.
